Santa Cruz Strength is extremely excited to announce a speed and power clinic hosted by the track legend John Rembao and his team. Using footwork drills, video feeback, and detailed technique explaination, John teaches proper sprinting mechanics and acceleration.  Whether for team or individual sports performance, or the simple joy of learning new athletic things, each athlete will be taught specific set of skills essential to their speed development.  These skills can then be applied to each athlete's current fitness level to improve his/her ability to fun fast!

PLEASE SIGN UP WITH KYLE AND/OR JOCELYN AT THE GYM and for more questions about the clinic email John at JohnR@D1Athletics.com

*For those who would like to stick around, the clinic will finish with a super fun Quad test which is a standardized track & field test of one's power output measuring a standing long jump into the sand pit, triple long jump into the sand pit, over back shot put throw, and standing 30m sprint.  This is a fantastic opportunity to see how your training has been paying off!

Great opportunity to do something different and enhance your training. I think I'm too old, but maybe I'll volunteer Nik :)

Alternatively, my couch at home offers a daily "slow and weak" clinic.

Pam! You are NOT too old! You're hard-core and in excellent shape.

Rebecca, let's move your couch to the side of the track and watch with a glass of something alcoholic/paleo.

Oooh, Pam, that sounds idyllic. I'll get a start testing recipes. A fresh basil gimlet today, I think.
